For the cyclist on vacation there can be no better area than Brittany. Over 700 miles of coastline exist ranging from the rugged Pink Granite outcrops in the North to the enclosed sandy beaches to the South. The countryside is no less spectacular, with its small picturesque villages surrounded by low rolling hills and lush greenery. Its leafy lanes, tranquil villages, miles of footpaths and quiet backroads make it ideal for this type of break.
A land of legends, it lends itself perfectly to the gentle pace of the cyclist and offers an opportunity to explore the many chapels, standing stones and historical sites which dot the landscape, or simply enjoy the lush countryside and woodland that this region of France is famous for.
More importantly the roads in Brittany are far less congested and as a result a lot safer than those you might encounter in other countries. Drivers are also more "Bike friendly" which makes for a more enjoyable and less hassle-free tour.
The routes on or off road that you can choose from are numerous. Some cyclists have a clear idea of where they want to ride, how far, and where to. Others use our vast selection of reference rides gathered over the years.
The choice is yours and we are always ready to help and advise.
