Terms & Conditions.

 

  1. Booking form & Deposit

    One person over the age of 18 yr. must sign the booking form & by signing you make a contract between yourself , all members of the party and Easy Breaks in Brittany (hereafter referred to as the Company). The contract commences when we have accepted your booking or final payment for late bookings, & the conformation invoice has been sent to you.

    Payment for the holiday must be made in full 45 days before the date of departure. If for any reason the full balance is not received by the due date the company reserves the right to cancel the booking, retain your deposit & apply cancellation charges as set out below.

    As soon as we have received your payment we will send you your holiday invoice. This will act as conformation of your booking with us

  2. Alterations to the holiday by you.

If after conformation has been issued you wish to change or alter your holiday booking in any way ( change of dates, persons travelling etc) we will do our utmost to make the changes, subject to written conformation being received by the company from the person who signed the booking form. This must be accompanied by a payment of £10 per person to cover admin costs & arrive no later than 45 days of the departure date. If you wish to change your holiday within 45 days of the departure date any new arrangements will be treated as an entirely new booking (except in the case of name changes) & will be subject to the cancellation charges set out below

  1. Cancellation by you.

    If you need to cancel your holiday please inform us immediately .Cancellations are effective only in writing to the company at our address in France by registered post.. Cancellation charges based upon the following scale will be paid by the client as expressed as a % of the total cost of the holiday.

    45 – 30 days 50%

    29-14 days 75%

    13- 1 day 90%

    Day of departure 100%

    It is for this reason we ask that, as a condition of booking each client is covered by an appropriate holiday & personnel insurance Policy. If the reason for your cancellation is covered by the terms of any Insurance policy you may be able to claim these charges, however notice of cancellation must be given immediately the circumstances giving rise to the claim occur – failure to do so may prejudice your entitlement to claim the full charge made.

  2. Major Changes or cancellation by us.

    We will not cancel your holiday after the balance due date unless it is necessary to do so as a result of a force majeure that being war or threat of war, riots, terrorist activity, civil strife, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, technical problems with transportation, quarantine, epidemics, adverse weather conditions, government action or other events beyond our control, or you have failed to pay the invoice balance by the due date.

    In the unlikely event of the company having to cancel your holiday for reasons other than those mentioned above we will offer you another holiday or a full refund together with compensation listed below.

    44-29 days £15 per person

    28-15days £10 per person

    14-0 days £25 per person.

  3. Minor alterations by the company.

    We reserve the right to be able to adjust & have a degree of flexibility arranging the services, facilities & transport we provide in order to provide you with the best possible holiday.

  4. Liability of carriers

    We are not responsible for changes in travel arrangements made by any Carrier be that air sea or land operating within Europe or overseas. In the event of an alteration in your scheduled travel arrangements please inform the Company ASAP. Such changes do not count as major alterations & are not a valid reason for cancellation or compensation.

    When you travel with a carrier their terms & conditions apply, some of which may limit or exclude liability. All claims resulting from transport services should be directed to the carrier concerned. The carrier is responsible for the welfare of clients in the event of delay.

  5. Our responsibilities

We also accept responsibility for the services which we are contractually obliged to provide, save where they lead to death , injury or illness. We accept responsibility for death, injury or illness caused by negligent acts and/or omissions on our part other than rail road or sea carriers performing any domestic, internal or international .We accept responsibility for ensuring that all elements of your break as described in the brochure are of a reasonable standard. carriage of whatsoever

  1. Your responsibilities

It is the responsibility of the customers to arrive at the point of collection at the time stipulated on the booking form. It is also a requirement that you & your party have adequate health/personal and general holiday insurance to cover your time with us.

As we provide breaks which may involve a degree of physical exertion customers should realise that sometimes the pleasures of an activity holiday do not compensate for the possible discomfort that the activity may bring! A certain spirit of adventure is therefor required.

 

  1. Complaints

Because this is a family managed business we will be dealing directly with you on a daily basis. Therefore if you have a complaint we are immediately on hand to hopefully resolve any problems you may encounter to your satisfaction. We take great pride in offering our customers a quality package & service during their stay with us in Brittany.
